With all the new rods out there is it still worth it to spend big money on them? Some of your less expensive rods manufactures have been puting some good sticks together. I have always been one to say you get what you pay for but some of my back up rod and reel set ups that I use and did not spend all the money on are a good choice. So in my opinon before you spend all the money for a big name rod do some checking around, you can use the extra money you don't spend on GAS!!!
